Restored Library of Celsus, Ephesus. The relief in the foreground is reminiscent of the elements of armor mentioned in Ephesians 6:13–17, including the belt, breastplate, greaves for the feet, shield, helmet and sword. While the Library was only completed in 135 AD and was not present in Paul’s day, the relief may have existed earlier.
