A bronze Sestertius coin struck in Rome in AD 22–23. Obv.: CIVITATIBVS ASIAE RESTITVTIS “Cities of Asia restored.” Depicts Tiberius (r. 14–37 AD) with laureate and toga, seated on a curule chair, his feet on a stool, holding a patera in his right hand and long scepter (hasta pura) in his left. (RIC 1.48).
